Fillers

Filler is used to temporarily lift and contour cheeks, smooth lines, and plump lips.

Over time, our skin loses volume and structure.  Filler helps to temporarily restore lift and volume in our skin with hyaluronic acid.  Hyaluronic acid, or HA, is a natural substance in the body delivering volume and hydration to the skin.  Modified HA is the main ingredient in most of the fillers used by our providers.  Treating with filler helps to add hydration and lift to different areas of the face and body without surgery while temporarily restoring volume loss beneath the surface.

FAQ's

When can I expect to see results from my injectable filler treatment?

One of the most rewarding aspects of injectable filler is immediate results! However, patients may observe some swelling, redness, and/or bruising that typically subsides within two weeks.

How long can I expect results from injectable filler?

Injectable filler is a temporary treatment. Depending on the area treated and the product used, results can last anywhere from six months to two years. As we experience aging during this time, patients may return to office a few times a year to maintain full results.

How much injectable filler do I need?

The amount of filler a patient may need varies depending on the area of concern and the desired level of correction. To develop a personalized treatment plan, a patient must be seen in office for a complimentary consultation where same-day treatment can be accommodated for patients electing to proceed with recommended treatment. Based on the goals and expectations of a patient, the product selection and the amount will be determined by our board-certified providers.

How much does injectable filler cost?

Your provider will generate an itemized quote at your complimentary consultation. She will develop a customized treatment plan to best achieve your desired results. Based on your budget, recommended treatments may be applied in one visit or may be spread out in a timely manner.

Does injectable filler hurt?

We pride ourselves in experience, results, and making your treatment as painless as possible. Many of our injectable fillers contain lidocaine, a mild anesthetic that helps minimize pain during and after treatment. Some patients do report mild discomfort during treatment as this is dependent on areas are treated and the amount of injectable filler administered. We offer topical numbing cream and ice prior to injectable filler treatments. The most common areas where topical numbing cream is applied are sensitive areas on the face, such as lips and around the mouth.

Are there side effects from injectable filler?

As with any treatment, injectable fillers have the potential for side effects. However, the side effects are typically mild and resolve within the first few hours or days following treatment. Common side effects can include: bruising, swelling, lumps or bumps, and mild skin irritation. We recommend allowing two full weeks for the body to absorb the injectable filler before making any adjustments.
