Say Hello to Halo

Halo is the world’s first and only hybrid fractional laser. This means it is uniquely designed to utilize two types of laser energy—ablative and non-ablative. The ablative laser creates thousands of tiny micro-channels in the skin, leaving the surrounding skin untreated. The non-ablative laser treats the entire surface of your skin. Together, the two lasers trigger your skin’s natural healing response, spurring healthy and vibrant new collagen and elastin growth for a wide range of improvements.

With aging, damage to skin can result in irregular pigmentation, signs of aging, large pores, and a rough texture. The Halo laser can provide overall rejuvenation to your skin for a younger, smoother, healthier look. The Halo laser treats the following:

  • Large pores
  • Fine lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Uneven tone
  • Age spots
  • Sun spots
  • Scars

When will I see results from my Halo Treatment?

Because each Halo treatment is customized to the patient, this may vary. Typically, most patients see benefits within five to seven days. This quick turnaround makes Halo a popular treatment option for people who seek noticeable results quickly with a short period of downtime.

Is Halo only one treatment?

Results of Halo laser will vary depending on the number of treatments and severity of skin conditions. A complete Halo treatment is two sessions at least one month apart. The Halo results will continue over time and become even more apparent after both sessions of Halo are completed.

How long will the results last?

It is recommended to complete one treatment (2 sessions) of Halo yearly to maintain results, continue to improve upon results of the previous year, and to combat the inevitable aging that we all experience.

Will I experience swelling after my treatment?

Swelling is normal the first several days after treatment and is expected to recede in two to three days while completely subsiding around day six. We suggest sleeping with your head elevated, limiting salt intake immediately following the procedure, and carefully cooling the treated area to minimize swelling.

Can Halo be used on darker skin tones?

Most lasers on the market are only effective for men and women of lighter skin tones. Halo is different because it uses a motion-tracking technology to measure the face beforehand, then the laser scans and targets imperfections deep within the dermis. Because of this, it can be effective for all ages, all skin types (I-VI), and all complexions (including rosacea).

Where can the Halo we used?

We can use the Halo laser on any body part, but our most popular areas to treat are the face, neck, chest, arms, above the knees, abdomen, and scars.

How long does Halo take?

Depending on the area(s) being treated, approximate treatment time can be one hour to two hours. We use a compounded numbing cream applied to the area being treated 30 minutes prior to your treatment allowing for a tolerable experience where sensations of heat and a mild-moderate discomfort may be expected. Most patients find the procedure very tolerable and an improvement from lasers they may have experienced in the past.

What to expect after treatment?

Most people report a warm or burning sensation immediately after treatment like a sunburn.  This typically resolves within two to three hours. Swelling and redness are common and can last 2-3 days. We will provide you with after care instructions and post-care products to decrease downtime. Our post-care product kit should be the only products you throughout recovery unless otherwise instructed by your provider.

How much does Halo cost?

Treatments can range from $500-$3000 depending on the area being treated. Schedule your complimentary consultation to discuss if Halo is appropriate for you.
